Atom Feed Added

BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA — FoundingDocuments.org is very glad to announce the web­site again offers a news feed for feed readers.

“You can again put FoundingDocuments.org into your feed reader app to auto­mate load­ing up­dates with­out manual­ly load­ing the web­site to see what may be new,” said current proprietor, Andrew C. Bairnsfather.

With few exceptions, each new page posted to the site will be added to the news feed. It’s also possible a pre­vious­ly pub­lish­ed page will be added to the feed again; for example, if it’s changed.

Earlier versions of FoundingDocuments.org offer­ed RSS feeds, then for awhile there were no feeds. Now an Atom feed is avail­able at: https://www.FoundingDocuments.org/feed.atom

“Since this is not a break­ing news web­site or blogg­ing site, we respect­ful­ly ask: please adjust news­reader apps to check for up­dates on a less-than-daily schedule, even less frequent­ly if possible. This will help conserve resources.

“Once subscribed to the feed, by its very nature, it will become apparent if it’s useful to increase the frequency of check­ing for up­dates. We thank every­one for their co­opera­tion and understanding.”

FoundingDocuments.org is the premiere website to download the U.S. Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution in the vCard file format. The vCard file format is an international standard used to store and exchange contact information; it’s supported by a wide range of programs running on both desktop computers and mobile devices.
